Welcome to all Biathlon racers,

This challenge will challenge your drive & your accuracy just like in a real Biathlon race where endurance & accuracy come into play. Biathlon is that sport where you ski & stop to shoot at targets.

Everyone who has signed up for this event, you will now be taken to the Mount Barbecue where your "Biathlon 2022" thread will be waiting for you. The rest of you can spectate, but you can no longer sign up once this post gets posted.

You will be racing from the time I give you the GO until 12:00am EST (a little under 5 hours by the time we get going.)

Once I give my GO, you will have to post as much as you can in a thread you will make in your Journal titled "Biathlon". You will post in that thread as many times as you can until 12:00am EST. For those not familiar with this forum as much, it is normal if you get a flood control message. Everyone has that. You all have the same amount of time before you can post again for flood control, it's something I have no control over.

The catch is that at the top of every hour, so at 8:00pm EST, 9:00pm EST, 10:00pm EST & 11:00pm EST, you have to make 5 posts that finish in a 1 time stamp. So the last digit in the seconds has to be a 1.

This means that as soon as the clock turns to 20:00:00 EST you have to make sure for 5 posts you hit the seconds with a 1. If you do not do this, you will get a penalty of 20 posts deducted from your total. You will get 2 minutes to get your 5 posts in to not get the penalty.

To goal is to have the most posts total at the end.

Yes basically, but you have to hit target times at the top of each hours to avoid penalties.

You have to do 5 EVERY hour, or 1 across each 5 hour mark? I might just have to take the L on that cause it takes me more than 10 seconds to make a post like that.

Yes so like 20:00:00 to 20:02:00 would be the first target.

Drake you can just sit in one thread & keep posting. It's only the top of the hour that you have to hit 5 targets. If you miss them, you may still do good if you managed to spam your thread enough.
