The QGames 2022 Winter Olympics
Snowboard Slopestyle
Welcome to all Snowboarders,
I will post the full challenge once we finish with the questions.
For this challenge you will be competing in a slope challenge where you have to be alert for the next obstacle as you race down the track.
First off, you will need to go make a thread in your Journal titled "Snowboard Slopestyle". That is where you will be playing the challenge & only answers in that thread will count.
At the end, once you feel like you're done with everything, please post "DONE" as the last post of your answer thread to clock in your time.
If you mess up at any point, you can either continue & accept losing points for wrong answers or you can start a whole new thread & follow the same process. You cannot answer again in the same thread. I will only count your first answer in the thread you write "DONE" in.
At the end, you will be scored by your total number of points & the tie breaker will be the time it took you from start to your "DONE" post. In order for this to not last forever, you will have 2 HOURS to complete the challenge. If you time out, only what you have done in your thread will be scored.
I left most areas opened except for the Opening Ceremony area & it will not re-open during the challenge.

So say Faith messes up a question, she would have to make a completely new thread to start again? (yes I'm manifesting)

Yes so let's say for example that there are 5 parts & someone messes up on part 3. They can either continue & take the loses that might occur OR they make a new thread & start over from part one. You have to follow the other of the tasks OTHER than when you have obstacles.

Can I get an example of what an "obstacle" or "part" might be?

So to make sure it's clear, if you're working on a task & I post an obstacle, you can post the obstacle answers before you finish the task, but you cannot complete the tasks out of order.

I could ask you to answer random questions. Make specific posts, find certain things on the forum.

If we say we’re done and you post another obstacle, are we still allowed to play for those points?

The obstacles are timed so it does not matter before or after what task you post it.
