Welcome to all Curlers,

This will be a counting comp, but instead of overwhelming you with a bunch of curling items & asking you to count them, I will be posting a picture of a Curling House with Stones positioned in & around it. You will have to determine the score for each team featured (they will be labeled by the stone colours.)

Each End you will have 60 seconds to analyze the picture & post in your journal the points for each team. If you get it wrong, you will not score any points. If you get it right, you will get points based on how fast you were. Depending on how many Curlers got it right, the point system will be in increments of 2 points. So for example if 10 Curlers get it right, the last Curler to get it right would get 2 points & the first Curler to get it right would get 20 points for that End. We will do 6 Ends for this event & the point totals across the 6 Ends will determine the order & our medal winners. If we have any ties, you will share the placement.

Usually there are 2 teams, but in this challenge there will be 3 teams. This means you have to give me the scores each round for;

Red Team:
Green Team:
Blue Team:

Point System

Gold Medalist: 20 points
Silver Medalist: 15 points
Bronze Medalist: 10 points
Places 4th to 10th: 5 points
Everyone else who participates: 2 points

You can use any thread in your journal to answer. I will only be verifying them once we finish all 6 Ends. Remember that you only get 60 seconds to send an answer in your journal once I post the picture in the thread here each End.

If a team gets no point, you have to say so. I want a score for all 3 teams each End.

This might be a stupid question but are we counting each end separate or if a team has 2 points after end 1 would we count on top of that for counting their score for end 2 or is each end it's own thing

It's not a dumb question tbh, I can see the confusion. In a real Curling match you would add each End up, but for this challenge we are going to treat each End as their individual score. So do not add previous Ends together.

I'm not explaining the scoring system on purpose. I wanted you all to learn it and there's also a hint somewhere in here if you didn't. I only added a 3rd team to make it more complicated, more cluttered on the image, but you still count the points the same way. I honestly have no idea if there are different rules if you play with more than 2 teams.
